Dogtobersculpt Day Twenty Six – Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

by | dogtobersculpt | 2 comments

The breed of day twenty six of Dogtobersculpt is the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

Researching the image for this breed sculpt was rather interesting as there seem to be quite a few variations out there. I know that genetics make each new life different and it is rather fascinating.

I am still working out new ways to represent eyes, sometimes what works on one sculpture just does not look right on another.

Coming tomorrow – Husky

Post Update…..

The eyes on this Cavalier King Charles Spaniel have been bothering me since I had to stop sculpting last night due to the time constraints I set myself. They just looked not quite there.

I decided to spend a little bit of time this evening redoing the eyes and now I am happier with how they look now. I think that the eyes look a lot softer.
